You have to submit it through turnitin account.

1. Title Page: your name, roll no, course code and title, semester, assignment title
2. Lesson title
3. Level: preferably BS (your won class)
4. Duration: 1 class, two classes or more
5. Study materials: include chapter/s from books, links from internet etc
6. Lecture outline
7. PPT or transparencies for a lecture; in case of board or chart use, type in the material in a MS Word file.
8. References

Your mid-term examination will be conducted on Friday 30th November, 2012.

Timings: 2-3:15 pm
Special Instructions: You are not allowed to keep cellular phone with you. Bring your own stationary.

Mid-term Information:
Weight-age: 20%
Marks: 30
Pattern: MCQs = 10 Marks; Short questions/diagrams = 10 Marks; Long questions = 10 Marks
Course Topics: Applications of cell biology, unity and diversity, cell sizes, evolution of cell, comparison of different cells, biological molecules in cells, ultrastructure of cell including cell membrane and organelles, overview of replication, transcription and translation, and cytoskeleton.

Structure and function of chloroplast and mitochondria; the cytoplasm: endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi complex, lysosomes, microbodies and vacuoles; cytoskeleton: types, structure and functions, cilia, flagella, fimbrae, pili, significance of cytoskeleton; cell cycle, cell division and its control; apoptosis and necrosis; cellular communications / cell signaling; stem cells: types, sources, uses and ELSI.
